Construction Accident Expert

RepOne is dedicated to responsible building practices that ensure the safety of job personnel and the public. Graham gained this knowledge with years of hands-on experience on several hundred building projects. From his experience and knowledge base, Graham has successfully provided expert reports and testimony, since 2009.

Mr. Graham has prepared several construction accident expert reports – chiefly from forensic documentation – as the conditions of any occurrence site are seldom accessible to the expert before they change.

Most construction accidents are related to slip and fall, struck-by, and fall-through incidents that could have been prevented. Graham’s expert knowledge of site safety management and means and methods learned through his 22 years in the field provides him with keen insights into cause and effect, and the rules and regulations governing site safety.

A seasoned construction accident will know the prevailing codes and standards for national, local, as well as those iterated in construction contracts. He will also be familiar with the mechanics of how safety programs are implemented and managed. These programs are not limited to workers on site, but also pertain to visitors, as well as pedestrians.

Mr. Graham has been retained as a construction accident expert to prepare an expert report pertaining to

  • a worker on a roof falling through a partially and improperly covered penetration
  • a demolition worker crushed between a compactor and drunk driver
  • a lathe inspector impaled while tip-toeing across a re-bar mat
  • a hotel guest injured as a consequence of a faulty shower seat
  • a policeman injured while responding in a vacant building
  • a policeman injured by a falling scaffold
  • a pedestrian who fell into a rut along a building under construction perimeter
  • a mechanic injured by an unsupported door frame
  • a helper injured hoisting improperly from a scaffold
  • a workman hurt falling thru unsecured plywood over an opening
  • a helper hurt when a delivery truck crushed his leg whilst unloading

“In my five-decade’s career, I have seen more than my fair share of construction accidents – nearly all of which were preventable. The absence of proper safety mechanisms, PPE, and apathy all fuel the phenomenon of of an excess of consequences that never should have happened.”
